Disciplinary As much as we want to promote a warm and friendly atmosphere here at Appetite For Destruction, we have to be prepared to enforce our policies when necessary to keep things that way. It will always be our goal to be fair and just in the treatment of our members, but they must be aware of the various penalties that we can—and will—impose upon members who refuse to follow the rules In increasing order of severity: 1. Private Warning. The member will be given a maximum of two private warnings via /tell by his raid leader or assistants. Warnings will be stated explicitly as such—the word “warning” will be included in the message to make it clear that a rule has been violated, and that we expect the member to correct his behavior. 2. Public Warning. The member will be given exactly one public warning via raid or guild chat, either by the GM, AGM, or the raid leader if private warnings did not halt their disruptive behavior. 3. Loss of Raid Opportunity. The member will be barred from coming to a particular raid (or raids) due to his behavior or lack of reliability. After this ban expires, the member will be allowed back into the raiding system as usual, unless the behavior persists. 4. Banned from Raiding. The member will be barred from joining any of our raids for a predetermined amount of time. 5. Removal from the Guild. Should a member be continually causing drama, being rude and causing severe problems, he must be dealt with to avoid more problems down the road. In this extreme case, the Guild Management will decide together whether to remove this person from the guild. |
